Job summary

Johnson Controls in Brisbane seeks an experienced Service Account Manager to lead the Security Service Team and partner with the Branch Manager to drive service delivery excellence. You will develop technical teams, strengthen customer relationships and ensure profitable service operations across the region.

The role requires 5+ years in Security or Building Services, proven leadership, strong commercial acumen and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within the Security, Building Services or related technical services industry.
• Experience in service operations, maintenance, installations or technical field services.
• Previous leadership, supervisory or team coordination experience, or the ambition to step into your first leadership role.
• Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of service contract management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and project tracking tools.
• A current driver's licence and the ability to obtain relevant security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Security service technicians.
• Driving operational performance and achieving key service delivery and financial KPIs.
• Managing maintenance contract schedules, backlog reduction and service execution.
• Conducting customer reviews and identifying opportunities to improve service outcomes and profitability.
• Overseeing contract renewals, onboarding activities, estimating and maintenance planning.
• Managing labour resources, workforce planning and technician utilisation.
• Monitoring labour and material costs to ensure commercial performance targets are achieved.
• Supporting technician development through coaching, training and performance management.
• Leading recruitment and onboarding activities to support team growth.
• Building strong customer relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Attending customer sites alongside technicians to support safety, quality and customer outcomes.
