Job summary

MSS Security is seeking a Security Officer to work at our prestigious client site in Weipa. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, perform access control, and issue ID cards, along with patrols and incident response.

The role requires a current QLD Security licence with Unarmed, Crowd Control and Monitoring, First Aid/CPR, a full QLD driver's licence, and a willingness to work a 24/7 roster.

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.

• Intermediate computer skills.
• Unrestricted availability to work a 24/7 roster.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile/foot patrols including lockup and unlock activities of infrastructure and gates.
• Conduct visitor/permit holder inductions and generate and issue access cards.
• Manage and perform bag and vehicle searches to identify prohibited, restricted unauthorised items.
• Monitor CCTV visual displays to manage and identify unauthorized access.
• Security support activities at client supplied camp accommodation.
