MSS Security is seeking a Security Officer to work at a prestigious client site in Weipa, Queensland. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, access control, and ID card issuance across a 24/7 roster.

The successful candidate will perform patrols, inductions, CCTV monitoring, and searches, applying security licenses and First Aid skills to ensure safety and compliance on-site.

Formación

• Full Australian working rights required.
• Current QLD Security licence with Unarmed, Crowd Control and Monitoring functions.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Full QLD drivers’ licence required.
• Intermediate computer skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct mobile/foot patrols including lockup and unlock activities of infrastructure and gates.
• Conduct visitor/permit holder inductions and generate and issue access cards.
• Manage and perform bag and vehicle searches to identify prohibited, restricted unauthorised items.
• Monitor CCTV displays to identify and manage unauthorized access.
• Provide security support at client-supplied camp accommodation.

About the Role

• Manage and perform bag and vehicle searches to identify prohibited, restricted unauthorised items
