Job summary

MSS Security Pty Ltd in Mount Isa is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer for an on-site mining site assignment. You will handle access control, patrols, CCTV monitoring and deliver professional customer service on a 24/7 basis.

Applicants must have Full Australian working rights, QLD Driver Licence, QLD Security Licence – Unarmed, and First Aid/CPR, with flexibility to work weekends.

• Current First Aid & CPR or willingness to obtain.
• 24/7 availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage site access control, traffic management and conduct mobile patrols, when required.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, radio communications and site security systems.
• Issue security passes, manage keys and control building access.
• Conduct drug and alcohol testing when required and provide professional customer service.
• Respond to incidents and complete accurate security reports.
