Applicants must hold current QLD Security Licence and Master Licence 41299, have a valid QLD Driver's licence, and be willing to obtain First Aid/ CPR and required vaccinations.

Qualifications

• Must have full Australian working rights and valid QLD driver’s licence.
• Current QLD Security Licence and Master Licence 41299 are required.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain is essential.
• Willingness to obtain site vaccinations and work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Providing professional customer service to staff, visitors, patients and authorised personnel.
• Monitoring CCTV, access control and alarm systems, responding to security alerts and incidents.
• Conducting regular internal and external foot patrols, identifying hazards and security risks.

About the Role

MSS Security is looking for a motivated Full-Time Security Officer – Reliever to join our team in Coopers Plains, Brisbane, supporting a high-profile healthcare facility. This is a varied role suited to someone who is professional, adaptable and confident working in a healthcare environment, providing security support to staff, visitors, patients and authorised personnel. Please note: This role involves working within a healthcare facility where you may be required to enter morgue areas. Applicants must be comfortable with this aspect of the role and able to maintain a professional and respectful approach at all times.

Duties

• Providing professional customer service to staff, visitors, patients and authorised personnel.
• Monitoring CCTV, access control and alarm systems, responding to security alerts and incidents.
• Conducting regular internal and external foot patrols, identifying hazards and security risks.

Skills & Experience

• Full Australian working rights.
• Current QLD Driver's licence.
• Current QLD Security Licence.
• Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).
• Willingness to obtain vaccinations required by the site.
• 24/7 availability, including weekends.
• Prior security experience is required.
