Job summary

Telstra Corporation is seeking an Engineering Excellence & Continuous Compliance Lead within the Security Engineering CoE to define and shape engineering, compliance and resilience practices across Telstra’s cyber security technology landscape. You will establish standards, baselines and maturity expectations, govern reusable patterns, and translate TAP outcomes into prioritized changes.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years' experience in cyber security, technology engineering or operational environments.
• Experience defining and embedding engineering standards or practices across multiple teams.
• Ability to translate compliance outcomes into prioritized actions delivered to implementation.
• Strong understanding of technology operations, lifecycle management and change
• Experience with DevSecOps and secure engineering in large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain and mature security engineering standards and measures of excellence across programs and BAU.
• Improve technology operations and lifecycle practices, including change management and currency.
• Translate TAP outcomes and assurance findings into prioritized actions delivered to teams.
• Lead uplift of DevSecOps and operational practices by defining guidance, controls and metrics.
