Job summary

MSS Security Pty Ltd in Blackwater is seeking Full time Security Emergency Officers. You will join the Emergency Response Team to patrol, respond to incidents, and support on-site safety.

The role requires security qualifications and the ability to pass police history and medical checks. Local candidates or DIDO eligible; must reside within 600 km of Blackwater.

Qualifications

• Must have full Australian working rights.
• Certificate II in Security Operations.
• QLD Class 1 Security License (Unarmed).
• QLD Class C manual driver’s licence.
• HLTAID011 First Aid or willing to obtain.
• HLTAID010 Emergency Life Support or willing to obtain.
• HLTAID009 CPR or willing to obtain.
• OH&S Construction Induction White Card or willing to obtain.
• Able to pass National Police history check.
• Able to pass a full medical and fitness assessment including drug/alcohol screening.
• Must reside within 600 km of Blackwater.
• Master license: 41299.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols, welfare checks, and security escorts.
• Respond to security incidents, medical emergencies, fire alarms, first aid.
• Monitor site activities, enforce rules and report safety concerns.
• Inspect and maintain emergency response equipment and vehicles.
• Communicate professionally with residents, contractors, and site personnel while delivering excellent customer service.

About the Role

MSS Security is looking for Full time - Security Emergency Officers to join our team in Blackwater. This position is for local candidates residing in Blackwater or DIDO candidates.

As part of the Emergency Response Team, you will respond to security and emergency incidents, maintain a safe and secure environment, and support the effective resolution of onsite emergencies.

Duties

• Conduct foot patrols, welfare checks, and security escorts when required.
• Respond to security incidents, medical emergencies, fire alarms, first Aid response and other emergency situations.
• Monitor site activities, enforce rules and report incidents and safety concerns.
• Inspect and maintain emergency response equipment and vehicles.
• Communicate professionally with residents, contractors, and site personnel while delivering excellent customer service.

Skills & Experience

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Class 1 QLD Security License (Unarmed)
• Class C manual driver's licence for QLD
• HLTAID011- Provide First Aid (Or willing to obtain)
• HLTAID010- Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (Or willing to obtain)
• HLTAID009- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Or willing to obtain)
• OH&S Construction Induction White Card (Or willing to obtain)
• Ability to successfully pass a National Police and Criminal history check
• Ability to successfully pass a Full medical and fitness assessment, including a Drug & Alcohol screening
• Must currently live within a 600 km radius of Blackwater.
• Master license: 41299
