Job summary

ACESGroup in Sydney is seeking a Security Control Room Operator to monitor live operations, respond to alarms, and coordinate emergency responses across high‑profile events. You'll work within our security systems, CCTV and integrated platforms, ensuring safety and service delivery.

This pathway role requires NSW 1A Security Licence, CRO experience, RSA, First Aid/CPR, and the ability to work a 24/7 roster.

Qualifications

• Hold a current NSW 1A Security Licence (minimum 12 months).
• Have Control Room Operator (CRO) experience – essential.
• RSA Competency Card current.
• First Aid and CPR current.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live operations using CCTV and integrated security systems during events, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
• Respond to alarms and incidents swiftly and professionally, escalating where appropriate.
• Support emergency response coordination, relaying accurate information to ground teams and stakeholders.
• Control access to restricted zones, ensuring only authorised personnel are granted entry.
• Log incidents and reports with precision, capturing essential details and ensuring accountability.
• Maintain operational readiness by checking and managing essential equipment and systems.
• Provide high‑quality security services in accordance with client requirements and internal standards.
• Operate and utilise ACESGroup’s technology platforms to support site safety and reporting.

About the Role

• Hold a current NSW 1A Security Licence (minimum 12 months).

• Are confident operating in a fast‑paced, live‑event environment, guided by SOPs and real‑time updates.
• Communicate clearly, stay composed under pressure, and work effectively in a team.
• Are flexible and committed to working a 24/7 rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public events.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card (current)

• Fire Warden + Chief Warden + Confine Small Emergencies (or willing to obtain)
