Job summary

KBR requires a Security Consultant to design and deliver security and communications solutions on complex infrastructure projects across Defence, Transport, Maritime, Energy and Water sectors. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to implement CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and ICT networks, ensuring regulatory and client requirements are met.

Australian citizenship with clearance ability is required, along with 5+ years delivering security projects; NSW licence or equivalent is

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience delivering security and communications projects across government, infrastructure or commercial sectors.
• Degree or formal qualifications in Protective Security, Counter Terrorism, Security & Intelligence, Telecommunications Engineering, Security Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of security management systems, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and telecommunications networks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach to project delivery.
• Current Security Consultant/Adviser Licence (NSW Class 2A) or equivalent, or the ability to obtain one upon commencement.
• Highly regarded:SCEC Endorsed Security Zone Consultant accreditation or ASIS PSP certification.
• Experience working within Defence or Commonwealth environments and familiarity with PSPF and ISM frameworks.
• Experience delivering integrated physical and electronic security solutions on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security and communications projects across Defence, Transport, Maritime, Energy and Water sectors.
• Design integrated security systems including CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection, perimeter protection and associated ICT infrastructure.
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative and practical solutions.
• Contribute to technical assurance, compliance and the implementation of industry best practice.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and project partners across Australia.
• Support the growth of KBR's National Security Practice through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
