Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Security Consultant to design and deliver security and communications solutions on complex infrastructure projects across Defence, Transport, Maritime, Energy and Water sectors in Australia.

You will design integrated CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and associated ICT infrastructure while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure compliance and最高 standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or formal qualifications in Protective Security, Counter Terrorism, Security & Intelligence, Telecommunications Engineering, Security Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience delivering security and communications projects across government, infrastructure or commercial sectors.
• Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Current Security Consultant/Adviser Licence (NSW Class 2A) or equivalent, or the ability to obtain one upon commencement.

Job description

As a Security Consultant, you will play an integral role in the design and delivery of security and communications solutions on complex infrastructure projects. Working alongside industry experts, you will support projects from concept design through to construction and commissioning, delivering innovative technical solutions that meet client requirements, industry standards and regulatory obligations.

The Opportunity

Who are you?

You are a collaborative security professional who combines technical expertise with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You enjoy solving complex challenges and delivering successful project outcomes within multidisciplinary teams.

You will bring:

• Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Degree or formal qualifications in Protective Security, Counter Terrorism, Security & Intelligence, Telecommunications Engineering, Security Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience delivering security and communications projects across government, infrastructure or commercial sectors.
• Experience delivering complex security and communications solutions while meeting scope, program and technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of security management systems, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and telecommunications networks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach to project delivery.
• Current Security Consultant/Adviser Licence (NSW Class 2A) or equivalent, or the ability to obtain one upon commencement.

Highly regarded:

• SCEC Endorsed Security Zone Consultant accreditation or ASIS PSP certification.
• Experience working within Defence or Commonwealth environments and familiarity with PSPF and ISM frameworks.
• Experience delivering integrated physical and electronic security solutions on major projects
