Job summary

Nixil Pty in Australia is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop and maintain applications within a secure ICT environment. Experience with Python, PySpark and Java is preferred, with a focus on robust APIs, databases and automated tests.

You will translate requirements into practical software solutions, contribute to code reviews, and work with secure coding practices in an Agile delivery environment, in locations including Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining software applications.
• Experience with Python and/or Java, or relevant transferable development skills.
• PySpark experience desirable where data processing is required.
• Knowledge of SQL, APIs, Git and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of secure coding and Agile delivery.
