Job summary

MTP Services in Canberra, Australia, is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead large-scale digital and technology programs within a Federal Government environment. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies and drive delivery across multiple streams to ensure high-value outcomes.

The role requires proven capability in Agile delivery, stakeholder management and budgeting, with Azure DevOps experience and a pragmatic, outcomes-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in delivery management, program delivery or Agile delivery within Federal Government and/or large enterprise technology environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading and motivating Agile delivery teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience managing complex technology projects with multiple teams, stakeholders and dependencies.
• Experience managing project budgets, resources, schedules and delivery priorities.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of complex digital and technology projects across a large Federal Government environment.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams including Developers, Testers, Business Analysts, DevOps Engineers, technical specialists and business stakeholders.
• Driving delivery planning, prioritisation and execution across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Identifying cross-team dependencies, risks and constraints and proactively managing them to maintain delivery momentum.
• Establishing clear delivery roadmaps, milestones and priorities while ensuring stakeholders have visibility of progress and emerging issues.
• Facilitating Agile ceremonies and embedding practical Agile ways of working across delivery teams.
• Supporting teams to continuously improve their delivery practices, productivity and ways of working.
• Managing project budgets, resources and delivery forecasts to ensure initiatives remain on track.
• Working closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into achievable delivery outcomes.
• Providing clear and concise reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Creating an environment that encourages collaboration, accountability and high performance.
• Removing blockers and resolving delivery challenges before they impact key milestones.
• Ensuring teams remain focused on delivering maximum value within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Using delivery data and metrics to identify trends, improve predictability and support informed decision-making.
• Working across a diverse technology landscape and adapting delivery approaches to suit different programs, teams and technical environments.
