Job summary

Aurec Group is seeking a Test Lead to join a high-profile federal government digital transformation program in Canberra. The role focuses on establishing testing foundations across a Microsoft-centric ecosystem and guiding a multidisciplinary team to deliver secure, multi-system outcomes.

You will define end-to-end test strategy, lead governance, and coordinate cross-functional testing across developers, analysts, and external platforms, with hybrid/flexible working options in Canberra.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure), API testing, and modern test management/defect tracking tools.
• Proven track record of leading testing streams in complex, enterprise-scale ICT or digital programs with multi-system workflow integrations.
• Strong agile mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills across diverse technical and non-technical teams, and a structured approach to test governance.
• Must hold a current BASELINE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and execute the end-to-end test strategy and test plans across functional, integration, regression, performance, accessibility, and UAT testing.
• Coordinate cross-system test execution across developers, business analysts, multi-agency stakeholders, and integrated external platforms.
• Establish robust test governance, defect management, and quality reporting frameworks to ensure seamless sprint delivery within an agile environment.
• Support test automation for regression and repeatable test activities, maintaining complete traceability between requirements, test cases, and releases.
• Conduct release readiness assessments and provide regular, clear quality reporting to program leadership and key stakeholders.
