Job summary

Yarra Trams in Melbourne is seeking a Head of Security and Business Resilience to lead the Security Management System, Business Resilience Framework, and Security Intelligence, reporting to the Director, Safety & Security.

You will guide governance, enterprise-wide security and emergency management, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor a small team within the Network Security division, joining a mission to protect passengers, employees and assets.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading enterprise security, business resilience and crisis management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills are essential.
• Understanding of critical infrastructure protection and organisational resilience principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Security Management System and Business Resilience Framework.
• Provide strategic guidance to the Director, Safety & Security and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Rail Safety National Law and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead enterprise-wide security, crisis management and business continuity programs.
• Manage a small team within the Network Security division.
