Showtime Consulting is seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Java & Golang) in Melbourne to design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions across enterprise platforms.

You will work on APIs, microservices, and high‑performing applications with a focus on secure cloud and defense‑oriented projects. NV1/NV2 eligibility and Australian citizenship are required, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and delivery excellence.

Competenze

• Strong commercial experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices using frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with containerisation including Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka/ActiveMQ.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse).
• Proficient source control with Git, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
• Familiar with DevOps tools: Bamboo, Jira, SonarQube, Veracode.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
