Job summary

Laminex is recruiting an Inventory Controller for our Melbourne Distribution Centre in Tullamarine at Co-ordinator level. You will report to the inbound manager and work 6.30am–3pm, Monday to Friday with occasional overtime.

We seek a detail-oriented, proactive team member with forklift experience and strong cross-department collaboration skills. This is a hands-on role in a leading Australian manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication across departments.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
• Attention to detail and problem solving.
• Physically fit for manual handling; safety conscious.
• Valid Forklift Licence with counterbalance experience.

The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Controller to join us at our Melbourne Distribution Centre in Tullamarine at Co-ordinator level.

This position will report to the inbound manager. Standard hours will be 6.30am - 3pm, Monday - Friday with occasional overtime available.

Role You'll Play We are looking for a people-focused and detail-oriented individual ready to join a leading business in a pivotal role.

You must have a keen attitude and a willingness to learn new things along with the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in inventory control or a similar role
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with different departments
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Physically fit, as there may be some manual handling involved in this role
• Exceptional awareness of safety in the workplace
• A valid Forklift Licence with relevant experience - must have counterbalance forklift experience
