Job summary

Accenture, through CyberCX, is seeking an experienced Senior SOC delivery professional in Sydney to own customer engagements end-to-end. You will drive SOC maturity assessments, lead detection engineering, and manage log optimisation and SIEM/SOAR migrations with a hands-on delivery mindset.

The role requires strong SOC engineering background, consulting maturity, and the ability to translate technical delivery into clear business outcomes for APAC clients.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in SOC operations or related, incl. 2–3 years in a delivery-focused role.
• Hands-on detection engineering in a SIEM environment.
• Hands-on SOAR experience: playbooks, alert triage & case management.
• Experience with log ingestion pipelines and cloud telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOC maturity assessments with workshops and benchmarking.
• Own detection engineering delivery from gap analysis to rule tuning and content reuse.
• Manage log ingestion and data quality programmes, including source audits and retention policies.
• Run SIEM/SOAR migration engagements end-to-end using Modernisation Factory methods.
• Act as primary delivery contact for customer engagements, managing stakeholders and milestones.
• Direct and mentor Senior Analysts, contributing to delivery methodologies and playbooks.
