Holy Spirit College in Mackay, Australia invites qualified teachers to join our Catholic co-educational college for Years 7-12. Successful applicants will teach one or more of the following subjects: Mathematics, Humanities, Religious Education, Study of Religion, and Industrial Technology and Design.

Salary: $86,600 -$147,048 (pending experience - includes Highly Accomplished (HAT) and Lead Teacher (LT) salary scale)

What we are looking for:

Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of Holy Spirit College, Mackay. These are full-time positions to commence January 2027.

We welcome applications from registered teachers who can teach in any or a combination of the following subjects.

• Mathematics
• Humanities
• Religious Education
• Study of Religion
• Industrial Technology and Design

The role of a teacher is to provide quality education and care for secondary school students at Holy Spirit College. The ideal candidate understands Catholic Education’s mission, can design differentiated teaching strategies, uses data to guide improvement and collaborates effectively with colleagues, parents and the community.
