Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy into teaching.
• Experience planning for high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or program.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions; co-curricular activities as required.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
