Job summary

Padua College is seeking a teacher to join our Inclusive Learning team. The role focuses on case management for students with educational adjustments, including high potential learners, and supporting teachers to ensure inclusive learning.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract during a period of leave. Applicants should be registered Queensland teachers with Catholic schooling accreditation and the ability to differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Disability Standards for Education (DSE) and contribute to NCCD evidence requirements.
• Lead case management for identified students, including PSP development, implementation and review.
• Act as a primary advocate and point of support for students in a designated year level, promoting inclusion and equitable access to learning.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, Learning Area Leaders, teacher aides and support staff to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
• Use varied instructional approaches to engage students and support meaningful access to the curriculum.

About the Role

We are seeking a teacher who has experience case management for students with educational adjustments (including high potential learners) to join our Inclusive Learning team. The successful applicant will also support the Inclusive Learning Team and teachers to ensure that all students are supported to engage in learning, leading to lifelong success.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract role covering a period of leave and offers an excellent opportunity for both recent graduates and experienced teachers to join the College.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Ensure compliance with the Disability Standards for Education (DSE) and contribute to Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) evidence requirements.
• Lead case management for identified students, including the development, implementation, and review of Personalised Support Plans (PSPs).
• Act as a primary advocate and point of support for students in a designated year level, promoting inclusion and equitable access to learning.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, Learning Area Leaders, teacher aides, and support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Use varied instructional approaches to engage students and support meaningful access to the curriculum.
