Job summary

Padua College Brisbane is seeking a dedicated educator to join our independent Catholic boys' school (Years 5–12) to lead student support and inclusive learning. The role centers on Disability Standards for Education, NCCD reporting, and developing Personalised Support Plans.

You will collaborate with teachers and support staff to differentiate learning and assessment, advocate for students, and promote a nurturing, equitable classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
• Current Queensland Teacher Registration or provisional registration.
• Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School.
• Ability to differentiate learning and assessment for diverse student needs.

Job description

Padua College is an independent Catholic Boys' Day School from Years 5-12 conducted by the Order of Franciscan Friars minor with an enrolment of over 1,500 boys.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Ensure compliance with the Disability Standards for Education (DSE) and contribute to Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) evidence requirements.
• Lead case management for identified students, including the development, implementation, and review of Personalised Support Plans (PSPs).
• Act as a primary advocate and point of support for students in a designated year level, promoting inclusion and equitable access to learning.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, Learning Area Leaders, teacher aides, and support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Use varied instructional approaches to engage students and support meaningful access to the curriculum.

This is a full-time, ongoing position, starting Term One 2027, that offers an excellent opportunity for both recent graduates and experienced teachers to join the College.
