Job summary

A Christian educational institution is seeking a committed Secondary Teacher for a long service leave position, covering Year 7 to Year 11. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics, VCE Accounting, and VCE Legal Studies. This role can be part-time or full-time based on negotiation. Applicants must have a passion for Christian education and exhibit strong classroom management skills. The college seeks teachers who have a commitment to Christian education and seek to join a dedicated college community.

The teacher will be expected to teach students from a Christian perspective as outlined in:

  • The Vision, Mission and Values of the school, and
  • The school’s educational philosophy

The successful applicant will be a professional colleague who will be part of a team of teachers striving to achieve the aims and objectives of the school. Requirements:

  • Establish and maintain effective classroom management.
  • The ability to effectively deliver the curriculum as prescribed by the leadership of Kerang Christian College.
  • Plan and organise work for effective teaching to occur including differentiation to meet the needs for a range of student abilities.
  • Be able to work collaboratively with other staff members and build positive relationships with others.
