MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter, Cairns region, is seeking a Secondary Student Learning Assistant – Student Engagement & Behaviour Support. The role focuses on student engagement, emotional regulation, and RTC support as part of a dedicated school team.

Under supervision of the Deputy Principal - Secondary and the Assistant Principal - Students, you will contribute to planning interventions and resources for students to enhance learning across environments.

Competenze

• Hold a Working with Children Blue Card.
• Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.

Mansioni

• Support student engagement in learning and assist in providing support to the Responsible Thinking Classroom (RTC).
• Assist students to regulate their emotions and respond to student escalations.
• Plan and resource interventions for students as directed by staff, under supervision.
• Work under the supervision of the Deputy Principal - Secondary and the Assistant Principal - Students.
