Job summary

Talent Focus is sourcing a dedicated Secondary Science/Maths Teacher for an independent Christian school in North Queensland for the 2027 year. The role focuses on delivering engaging learning across senior years and requires expertise in biology, chemistry, physics and/or maths.

You will teach Year 11 and 12, align with the Australian Curriculum, and contribute to a supportive school community with strong wellbeing outcomes. Jan 2027 start, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Have Australian working rights.
• Experience teaching Year 11 and Year 12.
• Have previous Australian Curriculum teaching experience.
• Hold, or be eligible for, Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics.
• Be committed to working within a Christian school environment.
• Be passionate about student learning and achieving strong educational outcomes.

We are working with a welcoming and well-established independent Christian school in North Queensland seeking an experienced Secondary Science/Maths Teacher to join their team for the 2027 school year. The school is looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Senior Secondary Science or Maths, who can deliver engaging and high-quality learning experiences across the secondary years.

The Opportunity
