Job summary

Wyong Christian Community School invites applications from qualified Secondary PDHPE teachers to join a faith-based, biblically-grounded secondary program on the Central Coast. Qualifications

• Qualified Secondary PDHPE Teacher with a strong commitment to Christian Education.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students to reach potential.
• Sound understanding of PDHPE curriculum from Stage 4 to Stage 6 from a biblical perspective.
• Evidence of exemplary teaching skills and curriculum knowledge.
• Effective, reflective practitioner with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to pedagogical advancement and student wellbeing and discipline.

• affirm a personal belief in the school's Statement of Faith, as well as active involvement within their local church;
• display a high standard of competency, proficiency and innovation within the classroom, empowering students to creatively express themselves;
• sound understanding of teaching curriculum from a biblical perspective
• provide evidence of exemplary teaching skills together with sound curriculum knowledge from Stage 4 to Stage 6;
• be an effective and reflective practitioner who displays strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• be committed to pedagogical advancement in their classroom;
• have strong skills supporting student wellbeing and managing student discipline;
• demonstrate strong administrative skills, with high flexibility and adaptability;
• a good understanding of Explicit Instruction would be an advantage.
