Job summary

Patrician Brothers’ College Blacktown is seeking a skilled and passionate Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join its dedicated teaching team in a permanent full-time position commencing in October 2026, or by negotiation.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across Years 7–12, demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge, and contribute to the college’s academic and co-curricular life while upholding Catholic identity.

Qualifications

• Hold recognised tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education with approval to teach Mathematics.
• Hold current NESA accreditation or be eligible to obtain accreditation.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the secondary Mathematics curriculum.
• Have ability to teach Mathematics Extension 1 and Extension 2, or willingness to develop in this area.
• Hold a valid Working with Children Check.

Secondary Mathematics Teacher - Patrician Brothers' College Blacktown

Patrician Brothers’ College, Blacktown is seeking a skilled and passionate Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join its dedicated teaching team in a permanent full-time position commencing in October 2026, or by negotiation.

The ability to teach Mathematics Extension 1 and Extension 2 is highly desirable. The capacity to teach Religious Education would also be an advantage.

Qualifications & Accreditations

The successful candidate will:

Hold recognised tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education, with approval to teach Mathematics.

Hold current NESA accreditation or be eligible to obtain accreditation.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of the secondary Mathematics curriculum.

Have the ability to teach Mathematics Extension 1 and Extension 2, or the capability and interest to develop in this area.
