Job summary

Cargo Montreal is seeking a permanent, full-time Second Engineer to join the cement carrier Goliath, based in Bass Strait. The role reports to the First Engineer and emphasizes safe operation of the main and auxiliary engines and boiler on a 6 weeks on/6 weeks off roster.

Applicants must hold AMSA Engineer Class 2 CoC, have a minimum of 3 years sea time, and be eligible for MSIC, with STCW and other safety certifications desirable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sea time is required.
• MSIC eligibility is required.
• Australian citizenship or unrestricted working rights are required.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of the main and auxiliary engines and boiler.
• Operate as Second Engineer on a cement carrier based in Bass Strait.
