Daily Fresh Seafoods in Armstrong Creek is seeking an experienced Fishmonger / Seafood Filleter to join our premium seafood retail team. You will fillet, skin, trim and portion a variety of fresh fish to a high standard while assisting customers with seafood selection.

Excellent knife skills, seafood preparation experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment are essential. We offer a competitive hourly rate based on experience, a stable team and a modern store.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Fishmonger or Seafood Filleter is essential.
• Excellent knife skills and seafood preparation experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Friendly, reliable and customer-focused.
• Knowledge of Australian seafood species is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Fillet and prepare a variety of fresh fish to a high standard.
• Skin, trim and portion fish accurately.
• Assist customers with seafood selection and cooking advice.
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic workstation and display areas.
• Handle and store seafood products in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Accurately weigh, price and pack seafood products for customers.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all customers.
