Job summary

Indigenous Project Management is seeking a qualified carpenter to join our Mildura-based building crew full time. You will work across maintenance and repair on residential and commercial properties, domestic builds, renovations and extensions, including framing, fit-out, decks and finishing.

You will take jobs from start to finish, coordinating with plumbers, electricians and civil crews, and dealing directly with clients on site.

Qualifications

• Confident across maintenance, domestic and commercial new-build work.
• Current driver's licence and White Card.
• Own hand and power tools.
• Able to read plans, set out and work unsupervised.
• Good communication – you'll be the face of IPM on site.
• Reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial properties.
• Domestic builds, renovations and extensions – framing, fit-out, decks and finishing.
• Commercial new builds – structural framing, fit-out and finishing on council, government and community projects.
• Commercial bits and pieces – fit-outs, minor works, make-safes and repairs.
• Take jobs from start to finish, on-site with clients.
• Work alongside plumbers, electricians and civil crew.
