Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, seeks a Seasonal Patrol Maintenance Technician in Gormley to maintain contracted assets and support winter operations. The role involves supervising shifts, coordinating equipment, and ensuring safety standards on roadways, medians, signs, and related infrastructure.

You will work under the Patrol Supervisor, train junior staff, prepare records, and liaise with contractors and the public.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum three years' experience in construction, road maintenance, or related outdoor work.
• Valid Ontario G Class Driver’s License and acceptable driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift supervisor duties during winter maintenance.
• Assist in organizing daily/weekly work plans and coordinating equipment and labor.
• Oversee work to ensure value for money and adherence to safety standards.
• Provide leadership and safety training to junior Webber staff.
• Inspect contractor work for compliance and report findings to supervisor.
• Coordinate traffic control at work sites and liaise with authorities and the public.
• Maintain records of equipment operation, hours, material usage, and incident reports.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in additional duties as assigned.
