Job summary

Astakos Fish market in Sydney is seeking a reliable Seafood Warehouse Worker / Pick Packer to join our team. This hands-on role starts at 4am, handling picking and packing of seafood orders and assisting with fish preparation in a chilled environment.

You will weigh and pack orders, receive deliveries, organise and rotate stock, and prepare dispatches while keeping work areas clean and meeting food safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in seafood picking/packing or warehouse work is preferred.
• Able to start at 4am and work in a chilled environment.
• Commitment to safety and accuracy in order preparation.

About the role

Pick, weigh and pack fish and seafood orders accurately.

Pin-bone fish and assist with basic seafood preparation.

Receive deliveries, organise stock and assist with stock rotation.

Prepare orders for dispatch.

Keep work areas clean and follow food safety procedures.

About you

Reliable and punctual, with the ability to start at 4am.

Comfortable working in a chilled seafood warehouse.

Able to carry out manual handling tasks safely.

Good attention to detail and able to follow instructions.

Work well in a team and keep up during busy periods.

Previous seafood, picking and packing, or warehouse experience is an advantage.
