Job summary

The Fish Factory in Morningside, Brisbane, seeks part-time Pick Packers to join a fast-paced wholesale operation. Shifts start at 4:00am across a 5-day roster, including one Saturday, with responsibilities in freezer and chiller work and warehouse tasks.

Successful applicants will join a close-knit team led by the Operations Manager, contributing to high levels of teamwork, efficiency and accuracy in packing and dispatching seafood products.

The Fish Factory is excited to announce job opportunities for part-time Pick Packers, with shifts starting at 4:00am. Working a 5 day roster, including one Saturday shift, this role offers the successful candidates the ability to be part of a fast paced, high functioning team. This role will include freezer and chiller work, operating at the heart of our wholesale operation.

Your role

The successful candidate will be someone who values high levels of teamwork & efficiency. Having a focus on efficient task completion, the successful candidate portrays high levels of attention to detail. You will be joining an established team of packing and warehouse crew, supervised by the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and labelling of fish and other seafood products for fulfilment of customer orders
• General warehouse duties as required.

Experience, qualifications & personal attributes

• Knowledge, qualification and/or proven application of food safety and hygiene standards
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be attentive to customer/client needs and determined to provide customer/client satisfaction.
• Ability to organise, prioritise, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude
• Strong work ethic.
