Job summary

Blue Seas Hornsby is hiring a hands-on Retail Manager to lead our busy seafood shop in Hornsby. You will oversee daily operations, drive sales, manage rosters, and ensure quality, freshness, and excellent customer service.

The role requires at least 1 year of seafood retail management and a diploma or higher in management. You will work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings, with a focus on food safety and store presentation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of seafood retail management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in seafood retail is essential, with knowledge of seafood types and quality.
• Knowledge of how to handle and store seafood to maintain freshness.
• Experience dealing with seafood suppliers.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and early mornings.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Diploma or higher in management/leadership or similar.
