Job summary

Tassal is seeking a Processing Attendant to responsibly process seafood products in a refrigerated production environment. You will handle, fillet, skin, debone and cut seafood, operate machinery, and ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.

You will package and label products, perform quality checks, and maintain clean, sanitary work areas. The role requires teamwork, strong attention to detail and compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in seafood processing or food production is preferred.
• Ability to handle seafood safely and maintain product quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills for a busy shift.
• Willingness to follow strict hygiene and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean, fillet, skin, debone and cut seafood as required depending on location.
• Operate processing machinery and ensure proper use and maintenance.
• Sort and grade seafood by size, weight and quality.
• Package products and label accurately for compliance and traceability.
• Inspect for defects, report issues to supervisor and keep records.
