Job summary

Tassal is seeking a Processing Attendant to join our seafood production team. You will handle, process, and package seafood while adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards. This role requires teamwork and the ability to operate processing equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal applicants may have prior seafood processing experience and a high school diploma. Shift work and a refrigerated environment are common aspects of this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in seafood processing is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Food safety certification is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process seafood products (clean, fillet, skin, debone, cut) as per location.
• Package and label products accurately to quality standards.
• Inspect for defects and report issues to supervisor; assist in quality checks.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation; follow food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team; assist training of new employees and communicate with supervisors.
