Job summary

Tassal Group in Huonville, TAS is seeking multiple casual Processing Attendants to join our salmon production team on an immediate start. You will work on a production line, operate slicing, weighing and packing machinery, and contribute to our smoked salmon products.

No prior processing experience is required as on-the-job training is provided; reliable attendance, ability to work early shifts from 4am or 5am, and a valid Australian work right are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication is essential for team coordination and safety on the line.
• Reliable transport to get to shifts and arrive on time.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug test.

Job description

MULTIPLE CASUAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE | IMMEDIATE START

Join us at our fast-paced salmon processing factory at Huonville as part of our casual crew. As a Processing Attendant, you will be assisting with the processing and production of our delicious smoked salmon. You will be working on a production line and operate machinery to slice, weigh, and package a range of different products. Although previous experience working in a processing environment is preferred, we provide on-the-job training. We would love to hear from you if you are reliable, have a great attitude, and ready to embark on a new role with the largest producer of salmon in Australia!

Role Requirements

• Full availability to work shifts Monday to Friday each week, including early morning starts (4am or 5am).
• Immediate availability.
• Ability to work in a cold food-processing environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable transport to get to work (car and driver’s licence required).
• Forklift ticket highly desirable.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug test.
• Full-time working rights in Australia.
