Job summary

Wayfaring is seeking a Software Engineer in Test/QA Automation to build out test automation and help keep releases fast and reliable. You will own end-to-end automated testing, shaping test strategy against new requirements and designing, building and maintaining frameworks that catch problems before customers do.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering and/or QA.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (or similar) building test frameworks.
• Strong API test automation experience with REST/HTTP.
• Comfort working in an AWS/CI environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into solid test plans and cases.
• Design, build and maintain automated test suites for UI, API and integration tests.
• Continuously improve and extend existing test automation frameworks.
• Investigate test failures, document defects and track them to resolution.
• Report on test outcomes and collaborate with the engineering team.
