Job summary

Squiz is seeking a Quality Engineer to maintain and deliver a high-quality product across the Squiz DXP. You’ll contribute to testing, automation and continuous improvement, working hands-on with manual and automated testing in a collaborative team.

The role offers a hybrid model with a focus on quality standards, working with engineers, product and stakeholders on the east coast of Australia.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Quality Engineering or Software Quality with manual and automated testing.
• Experience identifying and reporting bugs and validating fixes.
• Practical test automation experience including UI and end-to-end testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain test automation suites (E2E and UI).
• Write manual test cases for new features and major changes.
• Identify, investigate and report bugs to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with engineers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
• Develop automated tests using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Use GitLab in the development, testing and delivery workflow.
• Guide Junior Quality Engineers and contribute to quality initiatives.
