Job summary

Ingrity is seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a 3 month contract in Sydney, with a likelihood of extension. You will support one of our leading clients, drive Agile ceremonies, and promote teams' delivery outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as Scrum Master or in Agile delivery roles, strong facilitation and backlog management skills, and excellent stakeholder communication. Australian work rights are required.

Qualifications

  • Five years’ experience as a Scrum Master or similar delivering complex technology initiatives.
  • Experience applying Agile and Scrum practices in complex delivery environments.
  • Ability to embed Agile principles, behaviours, and ways of working across teams.
  • Strong organisational and delivery planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate milestones, dependencies, risks and delivery activities.
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies such as planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Improve team agility through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prioritise and manage the backlog with the Product Owner and team.
  • Track risks and dependencies; implement mitigation actions with stakeholders.
  • Provide timely delivery updates to stakeholders on progress and decisions.
  • Coach teams in Agile principles and self-management.
  • Identify and remove impediments by collaborating with teams and stakeholders.

Scrum Master
3 Month Contract - with likelihood of extension.

This is a Scrum Master role supporting one of our leading clients.

We are looking for a positive, energetic professional who takes ownership, drives outcomes, and gets things done.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate key milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery activities to support successful outcomes.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, showcases, retrospectives, and refinement sessions.
  • Improve team agility by identifying opportunities for simplification and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and delivery team to prioritise and manage the backlog, refine user stories and epics, and support effective estimation.
  • Identify, track, and elevate delivery risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies, working with stakeholders to agree mitigation actions.
  • Provide clear, timely delivery updates to key stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions required.
  • Coach the team in Agile principles and practices, promote self-management, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Proactively identify and remove impediments by collaborating with team members, stakeholders, and dependent teams.
Key Skills & Experience
  • At least five years’ experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or in a similar role delivering complex technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience applying Agile and Scrum practices in complex delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to embed Agile principles, behaviours, and ways of working across delivery teams.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation, and delivery-planning skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and continuous-improvement skills.
  • Ability to manage scope, delivery progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, and elevate concerns with clear mitigation options.
  • Proven ability to build and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Professional Scrum Master or Certified ScrumMaster certification is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A growth mindset, with enthusiasm for navigating new situations and solving problems collaboratively.
