Job summary

FinXL IT Professional Services is seeking an ambitious, early-career Scrum Master to join our Sydney team on a 12-month contract, with potential extension. You will work on-site with a leading financial services organisation, guiding Agile ceremonies and driving infrastructure delivery within the SQL Infrastructure & Systems team.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of Scrum Master experience, a solid grounding in IT infrastructure or SQL databases, and excellent communication skills to

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of Scrum Master experience.
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and IT delivery support.
• Background in IT infrastructure or SQL databases desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily standups, planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives.
• Coach delivery teams and remove blockers for smooth sprints.
• Collaborate with DBAs and infra engineers on SQL platforms.
• Track delivery metrics and dependencies; report progress to leadership.
• Foster inclusive, collaborative Agile team culture.
