Job summary

Mayday Healthcare in Western Sydney is seeking an experienced Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse to join a well-established private hospital’s perioperative team. You will operate in a modern theatre complex, supporting orthopaedic and general surgery lists and ensuring high-quality patient care across the surgical journey.

The role suits a confident perioperative nurse with strong scrub/scout experience, capable of anticipating surgeons’ needs and maintaining aseptic standards.

Qualifications

• Solid scrub/scout experience across orthopaedic and general surgical procedures.
• Confidence working across a range of surgical lists.
• Strong aseptic technique, instrumentation and surgical safety understanding.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and the wider theatre team.
• Current AHPRA registration is required.

• Support scrub/scout activities in orthopaedic and general surgery lists.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and perioperative teams to ensure safe patient care.
