Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment Group is partnering with a private hospital on the Sunshine Coast to recruit an experienced theatre nurse for a modern perioperative team.

You will contribute to ophthalmology cases within a contemporary theatre environment and gain exposure across multiple surgical specialties in a permanent full-time role.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous Scrub/Scout experience, ideally with ophthalmology exposure.
• At least 1 year of post-graduate nursing experience.
• Genuine interest in developing perioperative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the theatre.
• Support ophthalmology cases and other surgical specialties.
• Maintain high standards of perioperative care and patient safety.
