Job summary

AB ENGINEERING PTE LTD seeks an experienced Crushing & Screening Fitter to maintain and repair mobile crushing and screening equipment on-site at the Central Coast. The role is hands-on, focused on keeping the plant running safely and efficiently and may involve occasional travel to other sites for maintenance work.

• Carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Jumping into excavators and loaders when required to help keep production moving.
• Assisting with scheduled maintenance days at other sites when required.

Job description

An experienced Crushing & Screening Fitter role primarily working on-site on the Central Coast maintaining and repairing mobile crushing and screening equipment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands production environments and is willing to do what's needed to keep the plant running. The position is predominantly based at one Central Coast site, however occasional travel to other sites will be required for maintenance work.

Pre-starting mobile crushing and screening equipment each morning

Maintenance and repairs throughout the day

Working on jaw crushers, cone crushers and screens

Carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs

Jumping into excavators and loaders when required to help keep production moving

Assisting with scheduled maintenance days at other sites when required

About you

Has experience working with mobile crushing and screening equipment

Is mechanically minded and confident with maintenance and repairs

Can work independently and identify issues before they become major breakdowns

Is comfortable operating excavators and loaders when required

Has a practical, reliable and team-focused attitude

Understands the importance of keeping production running safely and efficiently
