The role involves setting up and operating printing machinery, ink mixing, colour matching and ensuring products meet high quality standards. You will work hands-on in a small team within a specialised industry.

Qualifications

• Several years' experience in screen printing.
• Experience with multi-colour printing preferred.
• Ability to independently set up and operate printing machinery.
• Proficient ink mixing and colour matching.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, organised and autonomous.
• Hands-on team player; experience with plastic or glass products advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate screen printing machinery
• Prepare screens and mix/match inks and colours
• Perform test prints and ensure accurate registration and colour
• Monitor print quality throughout production and minimise wastage
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer and company specifications
• Clean and maintain printing equipment and work areas
• Follow job specifications, quality procedures and WHS requirements
• Work closely with the Production & Factory Manager and wider production team

Join the Kingpin/PPI team as an experienced Screen Printer!

Kingpin/PPI specialises in the decoration of promotional, industrial and packaging products in plastic and glass. With over 35 years of experience in the industry, we are looking for an experienced Screen Printer to join our team.

We are seeking someone with several years' screen printing experience, preferably with multi-colour printing experience, who can work independently and take ownership of their work. You will be responsible for setting up and operating printing machinery, mixing inks, colour matching, preparing screens and ensuring finished products meet our high quality standards.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, reliable and quality focused, with the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

You will be joining a great team in an interesting and specialised industry, with excellent working conditions and a salary package negotiable based on your experience and capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate screen printing machinery


• Prepare screens and mix/match inks and colours


• Perform test prints and ensure accurate registration and colour


• Monitor print quality throughout production and minimise wastage
