Job summary

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Sydney Processing Centre. You will lead a large team in a GMP environment, ensuring production targets are met and blood products are produced safely and efficiently.

You will manage rosters, coordinate with other departments, and drive continuous improvement while actively engaging in blood processing activities. The role operates on a rotating roster, weekly hours, and requires flexibility to cover early mornings to late

Qualifications

• GMP/GLP experience in a technical/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising a production team is desirable.
• Strong understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and their application.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large skilled team in a GMP production environment.
• Develop and manage rosters and shifts to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate with upstream and downstream departments.
• Identify talent and support training and staff development.
• Utilise reports and forecasts to manage production targets.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
• Direct involvement in blood processing activities.
