Job summary

Evolve Scientific is seeking a skilled immunology assay professional to support preclinical and clinical studies in a modern lab near Melbourne. The role focuses on conducting immunological assays, including ELISA, and contributing to assay development and validation in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Honours or higher in Biological Sciences or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in conducting, researching, developing and validating immunological assays – particularly ELISA.
• Experience handling clinical samples in a quality-controlled environment (ISO 17025, GLP or similar).

• The purpose of this role is to provide assistance in the development, validation and conduct of immunology assays to comply with relevant standards, regulatory guidelines and SOP requirements.

Duties:

• Conducting immunological assays for research, preclinical and clinical studies
• Operating and assisting in the development and validation of biological assays, including ELISA
• Handling of clinical samples

• Ordering and maintaining supplies
• Cleaning, maintenance and calibration of lab equipment

About you:

• Tertiary qualification of honours or higher in Biological Sciences or a related discipline
• 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in conducting, researching, developing and validating immunological assays – in particular ELISA
• Experience with handling clinical samples and working in a quality-controlled environment (such as ISO 17025, GLP or similar)
