The successful applicant will join our Science Department delivering NSW Science curriculum with IGCSE Physics and offering IB Diploma Programme or NSW HSC options. Our Science Centre features thirteen laboratories for Years 7–12, with extensive equipment and flexible lab-based teaching.

The successful applicant will join an experienced team of experts, focused on inspiring and stretching our students’ thinking, knowledge, and skills. Our students are curious and enjoy the rigour and excitement of studying Science. In addition to the mandatory NESA Science courses, close to a third of our Year 9 and 10 cohorts elect to study IGCSE Physics. Our senior students choose from an extensive Science offering in either the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) or the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC), with student enrolment in HSC Science Extension growing significantly.

Our Science Centre has thirteen laboratories catering for Science classes from Years 7 to 12, including three large specialist super-labs. All Science lessons are conducted in laboratories, allowing for considerable flexibility in teaching programs, scientific practice, and learning. Practical work in all courses is complemented by the ample provision of both commonplace and specialised Science equipment.
