The position is term-time and permanent, with 12 hours per week, and requires adherence to school safety guidelines. The successful applicant will hold a Working with Children Blue Card and support the Catholic Education ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school or educational laboratory is desirable.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and chemical handling procedures.
• Capacity to work effectively in a team and meet tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Science Lab Technician with preparing and delivering chemicals and equipment to classes.
• Collate experiment orders from teaching staff and gather required items.
• Assist in classroom practicals as needed and return/clean glassware and equipment after lessons.
