Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the library circulation desk.
• Maintain library management systems, including catalogue and circulation records.
• Process new resources including ordering, accessioning and cataloguing.
• Maintain library collections in an organized, attractive condition.
• Complete stocktakes, collection reviews and resource maintenance.
• Support efficient borrowing and return of resources.
• Maintain library facilities, equipment and displays.
• Develop engaging library displays and promotional materials.
• Identify damaged or outdated resources for review.
• Assist students and staff with accessing library resources and services.
• Support students to become confident library users and aid research and information retrieval.
• Liaise with suppliers and service providers as required.
• Work with teaching and education support staff and participate in professional learning.
• Other duties as required by the Principal.
