Job summary

G8 Education Ltd is seeking an experienced Cook for Community Kids Kadina Early Education Centre in Kadina, SA. You will prepare nutritious meals for up to 80 children and contribute to healthy meal planning in a supportive, child-focused environment.

The role offers full or part-time hours with a flexible work arrangement, and access to learning resources and staff benefits within the G8 network.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or ACECQA Early Childhood qualification with cook experience
• Current Working with Children’s Check / Blue Card / DCSI Clearance and First Aid
• Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Experience in menu planning, budgeting and stock control
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, with set shift days

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality nutritious meals and snacks for up to 80 children daily
• Plan menus and manage stock in line with dietary and allergy requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment per Food Safety regulations
